Truth is like Kryptonite to a Liberal

First, if you are a liberal, you might not want to read this article. Liberals get upset with most of my posts anyway, so this one will drive you nuts. In fact, I’d advise liberals never to read my posts unless they are willing to hear a point of view different from their own. If you are going to ignore my advice and read this post anyway, get the children out of the room. Remember, I warned you. Don’t read this post.

Second, my views on liberals apply to most liberals, but not all. There are a few honest, logical, correct thinking people who are true classic liberals, and my views don’t apply to you. You are the ones who truly believe in liberal or progressive philosophy, have no hatred in your heart, and are mature enough to hear an opposing viewpoint. Unfortunately, most liberals are not this type. Most are superstitious, naïve, uneducated, fascist, haters, rife with psychological problems, immature, illogical and emotionally stunted.

click to show/hide the rest of the post

Third, am I going to prove my points? No. For you liberals, I’m stating opinions here. There is no way I can prove to you diehard liberals what I say in my blog. I can dance like a marionette like you want me to, give you statistics and “hard facts,” like you want, to prove my points, and then you’ll just go and say I’m wrong anyway. I’m not out to prove anything to you. The only purpose of this blog is to let you know there is a different point of view in this world than yours. In places like California this is vital. Many Californians, especially in hotbeds like San Francisco, never hear a conservative view all day long. Hollywood thinks conservatives are alien beings. Try proving to an airhead like Susan Sarandon anything logical and with common sense. You can’t do it. Just know, Susan and Tim, and Sean, and Alec, that not all the world thinks like your liberal vacuum-headed friends.

Why do I Write This Blog?

What is my purpose in writing this blog? As you can tell, it’s not to make friends. If you do as I do, tell the truth, you’re not going to be popular. You won’t be loved. You won’t even be believed. Most people aren’t smart enough to recognize the truth. You will be treated just like George W. Bush, who tells the truth most of the time. You will be vilified, slandered, ridiculed, and hated.

So, what good is telling the truth? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Except, it’s the right thing to do. Jesus told the truth (even assuming you aren’t religious, or if you are Muslim, you might agree with this), and he was crucified. Copernicus told the truth and he was almost killed for it (for liberals, Copernicus was the first scientist to suggest that the earth revolves around the sun.) Bush tells the truth, and he is literally compared to a chimpanzee by liberals. Cassandra told the truth and she was never believed. (for liberals, Cassandra, in Greek mythology, was granted the gift of prophecy by Apollo, but cursed in that no one would ever believe her prophecies.)

I am Cassandra. I tell the truth. Liberals will never believe me. Whether you believe me or not is your right and privilege. If you do believe me, you’re smart. If you don’t, you’re dumb. That’s how I see it. You have a right to disagree with me. In fact, you might think I’m dumb. You’re wrong, but you have the right to think so.

Differences Between Liberals and Conservatives

There are many differences between liberals and conservatives. I am a trained psychologist, and experienced in psychological research. I know there is a difference between the way liberals and conservatives think and feel. I suggest to some daring and brilliant PhD candidate that he or she do a study on parts of the brain used in thinking by liberals versus conservatives. You will find clear distinctions.

Again, don’t continue reading this article if you are a liberal. You won’t like it. If you are liberal and have read up to this point, your blood is boiling, I know. Tough. Put the article down. Or, maybe you’re one of the few logical liberals, and can take the truth, so read on, you masochist.

Liberals have underdeveloped logical reasoning ability. They lack common sense. They can’t make up their own minds about, let’s say, Bush, for example, without somebody telling them what to think. They believe in conspiracy theories. What goes on behind closed doors is what is important to them. Not what they see and hear with their own eyes. If they read something in a newspaper, they believe that—even though the source might be biased. If they hear something on one of their liberal slanted shows they trust that, because it confirms their beliefs, their religion of liberalism.

Again, if all this does not apply to you, then you are a true liberal or true progressive. You I honor. You I respect. You sincerely believe in big government, socialism, helping the poor by government programs and so on. So, for you, don’t take this post personally. Then again, if you are this kind of liberal, this post won’t anger you anyway. You are the rare mature liberal, who can handle the truth.

Sources I Trust

I could go on and on, but I’ll leave that for future posts. I’ll just mention one last thing on the subject. What about sources? I trust conservative sources more than liberal sources. I hear nothing but lies from liberal sources, at this time in history. This includes all the major networks, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN, and so on. The only television sources I trust are FOX and sometimes PBS. The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, for example, seems pretty accurate and unbiased to me.

Then again, I don’t mind if somebody is biased, as long as they are biased in favor of the truth. I trust anybody at this time in history who is biased in favor of conservatism, even if they are extreme. I trust Ann Coulter and Michael Savage for example, far more than I trust Noam Chomsky. All three say some pretty extreme things. Liberals hate Coulter and Savage, and I understand why. I don’t agree with everything Coulter and Savage say, but I agree with their basic premises—which represent unabashed conservatism, which makes them good in my eyes. Cindy Sheehan, on the other hand, is not good. She is an example of the worst kind of human being I can imagine, outside of truly evil people like Saddam Hussein. She uses her dead son to make her political points. She makes points that her dead son would never agree with, points against what her son stood for and died for. Absolutely despicable.

Did I Prove My Positions?

There, see, did I prove my side of things? No. I just stated my opinions. My opinions are based on a vast amount of reading, listening, and viewing, from both liberal and conservative sources. This separates me immediately from almost all liberals. Liberals only listen to liberal sources. Truth is like kryptonite to a liberal. I trust what I see and hear. I use logic and common sense. I don’t care what goes on behind closed doors. I don’t give a hoot about the Tri-Lateral commission. I’m sure there are conspiracies, as existed in the Nixon White House, and with Exxon and on and on, but these are still rare. Oswald, for example, was the lone gunman who killed John F. Kennedy, period. Oliver Stone and people who believe him are nutcases.

I don’t feel I have to prove anything to you. I just call it like I see it. I let you know that my opinion exists, and that I see the world differently from you.

You have a right to your religion of liberalism. Is my conservatism a religion? Kind of. Unlike liberals, though, I can be persuaded to change my mind, if I see truth in an opposing argument. On the other hand, since I see truth so clearly, my Cassandra complex again, I feel a moral obligation to proclaim it. This I feel truly is a mission from God, literally.

In any event, I have the right to tell the truth, and be crucified for it. Just like Christ, I ask God if I can be relieved of this burden, but, just like Christ, God says “No, you must tell the truth to gain your salvation.” For you liberals, no, I’m not being literal. God is not speaking to me, really. I don’t hear voices. It’s figurative. Don’t understand? Look it up.

Bring it on.

You said that "They can’t make up their own minds about, let’s say, Bush, for example, without somebody telling them what to think."

This is funny because you go on to talk about Ann Coulter and Mike Savage. You need to hear someone else's opinions before you can make up your own mind. You and many other people need to stop drawing meaningless lines in the sand. Both parties are the same. They have the same values and the same needs. They want money. Their greed is driving the economy into the ground. The issues that they drag before the public succeed in the politicians purpose to fracture our solidarity. They fracture because it is easier to control the people. These issues are small compared to all the other issues that the government and the government controlled media hide from the American people.
Saying that democrats want a small government and republicans want a big government is false. Last time I checked, the current president was increasing the size of the military and many government offices. He has increased the level of control that the government has on the publics private life. He has rid us of freedoms that republicans originally valued. He has elected judges who allow him to do whatever he wants and accept blue laws as constitutional.
Regardless of which party was in power, we would still have the same problems. This is because neither party represents the average person. They represent extremes of people's political orientation. This is terrible. Because of our need for change after one group screws up, our society swings back and forth every 4 - 8 years. And this oscillation is tearing apart the fabric of our lives. We need a government that works for the people, not the lobbyists and big business.
We a government that will remember the constitution. We need a government that will not choose to divide the people over morals and ethics and nonsense. We need leaders that will unite the public and work for them.

Funny site. Sincerely delivered doubletalk (a bit more anger than Colbert) that makes the conservative wingnuts look like the idiots they are, and comments that can call out liberal wingnuts to look like the idiots they are. Both sides are impervious to logic and equate screaming accusations with reason. I like your style. Make sure to point out misspellings as that will "prove" you are a superior thinker. I love that maneuver! Just crazy funny.

You're really posting yourself as a martyr for the future here Rock, which I respect in the sense that you're willing to suffer for the "truth" as you see it, but as usual I see fallicies in your line of thinking (isn't that why we have each other around?) You revile Cindy Sheehan for using her dead son (and other dead sons) to drive home a political standpoint that the US should not be in Iraq. Yet you respect Bush for using dead people as a basis for his political standpoint. What's the difference? Bush continuously uses 9-11 as an excuse to be in Iraq (yet there's still no connection between 9-11 and Saddam), but using your logic that we can't believe what the papers tell us, we're just SUPPOSED to believe what he says. No one living here can "see" what is really going on in Iraq and Afghanistan, or how the country is truly benefitting from our prescence there (other than the booming prosthetics and casket-making sectors). You and I both know that the government is not always completely truthful. The public often gets piecemeal information that lacks vital details that may put government officials in a negative light- you KNOW that happens. THAT I can see, and THAT I can believe- regardless of what CNN or Fox "news" say. But here's the rub- you in fact often use dead Kurds and dead Israelis as a basis for your political argument that the US SHOULD be in Iraq, so here's my question: What makes YOU any different from Cindy Sheehan? Obviously it's not JUST liberals who think that way....

(By the way, the force of a bullet fired from behind- where Oswald apparently was perched- makes the hit target jolt FORWARD, right? As the video of the Kennedy assasination clearly shows, his head jolts BACKWARDS when the final bullet struck. You don't need a physics degree to figure out that one....)

I can't access you from home so I'll have to get your response Monday. Enjoy your weekend my man.

Anonymous,

This is funny because you go on to talk about Ann Coulter and Mike Savage. You need to hear someone else's opinions before you can make up your own mind.

Can you read, Dum Dum? I like Savage because he agrees with me—I don’t follow what he says. There’s a difference. Study English.

You and many other people need to stop drawing meaningless lines in the sand. Both parties are the same. They have the same values and the same needs.

I don’t draw lines in the sand, my anonymous friend. It’s drawn in blood. The blood of the victims of 9/11 and the blood of Americans who will die because of your pacifist need to be loved.

They want money. Their greed is driving the economy into the ground. The issues that they drag before the public succeed in the politicians purpose to fracture our solidarity.

I agree they want money. Unfortunately, too many politicians, including my Repubs, are crooked. The economy though, genius, is doing well, or haven’t you noticed the highest stock market in history? Guess not. Most of the other economic figures are good too, but I guess you don’t read much.

Saying that democrats want a small government and republicans want a big government is false.

You’re right on this one my friend. Repubs have done a miserable job with overspending—trying to outspend Democrats so they can be loved. I don’t love them for it, do you?

Last time I checked, the current president was increasing the size of the military and many government offices. He has increased the level of control that the government has on the public’s private life. He has rid us of freedoms that republicans originally valued. He has elected judges who allow him to do whatever he wants and accept blue laws as constitutional.

We’re at war, numb nuts. Check out what Lincoln did in the Civil War with habeas corpus.

Regardless of which party was in power, we would still have the same problems. This is because neither party represents the average person. They represent extremes of people's political orientation.

You’re right, my good man. Howard Dean is certifiable.

Because of our need for change after one group screws up, our society swings back and forth every 4 - 8 years. And this oscillation is tearing apart the fabric of our lives. We need a government that works for the people, not the lobbyists and big business.

You know what, anonymous? You just touched my heart. I see you are a good man, really, no kidding. God bless you. That’s what I want too. Give me Lincoln, FDR, Kennedy, Truman, and Bush—leaders who are for the people. God bless you.

We want a government that will remember the constitution. We need a government that will not choose to divide the people over morals and ethics and nonsense. We need leaders that will unite the public and work for them.

There’s only one flaw in your argument. Americans have always been divided. They were divided in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam, and now. I’d love for us to be united, but God didn’t make the world simple. He made it challenging.

God bless you. You are a wonderful man.

Thank you, paz. I sense love in your comments. Right back at you. I love you Bro.

You revile Cindy Sheehan for using her dead son (and other dead sons) to drive home a political standpoint that the US should not be in Iraq. Yet you respect Bush for using dead people as a basis for his political standpoint. What's the difference?

Bush is right. Sheehan is wrong. Big difference.

Bush continuously uses 9-11 as an excuse to be in Iraq (yet there's still no connection between 9-11 and Saddam), but using your logic that we can't believe what the papers tell us, we're just SUPPOSED to believe what he says. No one living here can "see" what is really going on in Iraq and Afghanistan, or how the country is truly benefiting from our presence there (other than the booming prosthetics and casket-making sectors).

paz, you’re right. Don’t believe Bush. Trust your gut. What does your gut tell you? Since you are a child of God, and bright, and politically aware, I’m willing to listen to you. You’re wrong, but I’ll listen.

You and I both know that the government is not always completely truthful. The public often gets piecemeal information that lacks vital details that may put government officials in a negative light- you KNOW that happens. THAT I can see, and THAT I can believe- regardless of what CNN or Fox "news" say.

You are a free agent, in many ways more brilliant than I. Yet, I must have some smarts, since we’ve made a connection, if only through the Internet. There will be times when I will bow to you, I promise. I’m not better than you, and only smarter than you because I’m right. Ha, got you! Just kidding. I’m a speck in the universe, and the day I lose contact with that, I’m guilty of hubris, and you know what that means—Democrats will win control of congress. Oh, God, that’s about to happen! Oh, well. I accept reality. You loonies are on the ascendancy. Kind of like the age of the barbarians. The world got over that. The world will once again get over liberalism too.

But you know what, my friend? Repubs have blown it this time. All that corruption! Mark Foley and the rest of it. So, now you have your chance. Prove me wrong. Enact your policies and make the world a better place. If you’re right, I’ll admit it.

But here's the rub- you in fact often use dead Kurds and dead Israelis as a basis for your political argument that the US SHOULD be in Iraq, so here's my question: What makes YOU any different from Cindy Sheehan?
The difference, paz, is that Sheehan’s son was a patriot, loved being in the army, and would not support what his loony tunes mother was doing in his name. Shame on her!

By the way, the force of a bullet fired from behind- where Oswald apparently was perched- makes the hit target jolt FORWARD, right? As the video of the Kennedy assassination clearly shows, his head jolts BACKWARDS when the final bullet struck. You don't need a physics degree to figure out that one

paz, you, the Educator! Don’t you believe in the Scientific Method?

Tests done by scientists, not liberal airheads, have shown that indeed, bodies do recoil backward, against logic, from a shot fired from behind. Study more science, paz. Logic doesn’t always prevail in science. You need to test, my friend. Tests show that dummies fired on from behind recoil BACKWARDS!

Why?

Ask a physicist.

Rock,
I like the way you invite your critics to weigh in. Brilliant. I also get a chuckle out of the way you praise them and shower them with love. If your not a dad you should be one.

I'm leaning toward distrust and disgust with most politicians these days. I've never heard one politician, commentator, actor,or public servant speak the truth all of the time. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to live on Antarctica just so I'd be completely isolated from the generous serving of crap we are bombarded with each day from the media. I've given up T.V. and Print Media because I got tired of the liberal B.S.. I used to listen to talk radio until the daily dose of "they're wrong! and we're right!" became depressing. So, what's left?

People like you Rock. It's nice to read someone who hasn't completely drawn a line in the sand. I believe that people are more complex than the media gives us credit for. I believe that anyone who takes a position that excludes compromise also excludes reason.

Except for when it comes to Islam. before 9/11 I had no idea what Islam was or where it came from. Since then I've emersed myself in the study of it. My conclusion? We are in a world of shit if we dont draw a line in the sand RIGHT NOW! That is where all this bickering and party politics is, in my opinion, going to get us killed. It keeps us unfocused. We have no choice, if we are going to remain a free nation we must come togather and face this threat united as one. WWII will pale in comparison to what we will endure in the very near future. Until we regain our focus as a united people I'm going to remain skeptical of government, untrustfull of the media, and unsure about our nations future.

Oh, I'll also continue to improve my relationship with God. So far, I haven't been let down there.

Keep up the good work!

What a nice thing to say. Thank you Articman. I’ve always admired you and your blog for your honesty. You are the kind of blogger who I think does proclaim the Truth, which is what I like.

I'm leaning toward distrust and disgust with most politicians these days. I've never heard one politician, commentator, actor, or public servant speak the truth all of the time. Again, thanks so much. I understand where you’re coming from. A few people who I believe do tell the truth, or their version of it are: Tony Snow, Dennis Prager, Dick Morris, Larry Elder, LAEvanesce, paz y amor, Rock, and Articman. There is still hope for us yet. We ought to start a Truth Society and create our own political party.

Except for when it comes to Islam. before 9/11 I had no idea what Islam was or where it came from. Since then I've emersed myself in the study of it. My conclusion? You’re right on, Articman. It’s sad but true. Islam is a religion of hate and death at this time. Yes, there are probably millions of good Muslims, but they are deathly afraid of speaking out, for fear of getting their heads cut off. We are in a war with barbarians. The thing that gives me hope, though Articman, is that barbarians once ruled the world and they were eventually defeated. The blogosphere gives us a small but fighting chance. There are people out there like you and I who are telling the truth, and we’re not in danger of being jailed for it.

Oh, I'll also continue to improve my relationship with God. So far, I haven't been let down there.

Keep up the good work!

God bless you Articman. Since I don’t believe in being modest, I’m going to use your kind words to publicize me and you (and LAEvanesce etc.) We’ve got a little thing going now, and I want to capitalize on it. Since we are on the side of truth and God, I believe, we need to shout it out. Keep up your good work too, and don’t forget to keep the world honest by calling them on their foibles and praising them when they’re right.

V,

I am curious about your trusted sources. If you hear or read something numerous times from other sources (i.e., CNN, ABC, NBC, etc.), but not your trusted sources, do you just discount the information as untrue, or do you give the issue some thought as to its validity? It seems to me that you believe what you believe and cannot be swayed in any other direction

I listen and read widely. I listen to all the above sources, as well as Al Jazeera, BBC, New York Times, all the liberal rags, all the conservative partisans, and I carefully make up my mind. Can I be swayed? Of course. Even Jane Fonda could convince me of something if she was speaking truth. I respect truth from both sides, and beyond. Just speak the truth. Just be logical. Just be open.

Thanks for the comment.

You are right on about sources. I emailed CNN when they reported a false figure on abortion and within hours, they changed the way they reported it. I'm sure I wasn't the only one that confronted them. I do not watch CNN. They are biased. They are not honest. It's not that they spin, they just outright lie. Further more on the subject of sources, a family member is notorious for having conversations with people in Waffle House and taking it as God's word. If anyone can present anything to him in a half-logical manner, he takes it as gospel. And he will go to his grave defending third, fourth and fifth hand information. And...he's as liberal of a Dem as it gets. He makes up his own rules, never takes responsibility for his actions and will point fingers all day long at a Republican that does something yet he turns around and does it but justifies it. He has singlehandedly made me detest the liberal party.

Wow. Something! I do listen to CNN, but I cringe. For example, after Bush gives a speech, they immediately ignore the speech and instead report on Bush's sinister motives behind the speech. Bush never wants peace, he only wants votes, for example.

Oh well, I'm glad some people can see through them.

And he will go to his grave defending third, fourth and fifth hand information.

Liberals use this tactic all the time for their conspiracy theories. They point out articles and studies and so on that, when you investigate them, you find they come from left-wing sources. If it's written down, it must be true.

He has singlehandedly made me detest the liberal party.

I know where you're coming from. Vicious lies, attacks, and unsourced information do not earn my respect either.

Keep up the good work, Mary, and thanks again for commenting.
